No. Every new store starts with demo products so it is never empty while you set it up, no matter which plan you buy. The product count on your plan (for example, up to 300 on Pro) is the total real products you can have, not a number your store arrives already filled with. Add your own products or replace the demo ones any time, up to your plan’s limit.

Starter, at $5 a month, is for testing a first idea online: 30 products, 3 staff, and the AI builder. Pro, at $20, is the usual choice once the store is real, because it is where MCP, the headless API, custom SMTP, email marketing, and data export switch on, alongside 300 products and unlimited coupons. Business, at $40, is the same feature set with room for a team: 1,500 products, 8 staff, 5 warehouses, unlimited plugins, and 500 AI credits a month. You can move between plans at any time.

Yearly costs up to 20% less per month, but it is charged once for the whole year upfront rather than month by month. On yearly, Starter is $4 a month, billed $48 a year, Pro is $16 a month, billed $192 a year, and Business is $32 a month, billed $384 a year. Monthly is billed each month and you can stop at any time. If you are not sure yet, start monthly, the difference is small and you can switch later.

Orderain takes no cut of your sales, on any plan. Transaction fees are $0 on Starter, Pro, and Business. You pay your subscription and your payment processor's own rate, and nothing else. If you connect Stripe you pay Stripe's standard rate of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, and we add nothing on top of it. Those processor fees apply on any platform you would use.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Subscription fees are not refundable and unused time is not prorated, including on yearly plans, which are charged once upfront for the full twelve months. We do make exceptions in good faith for billing errors and genuine platform problems, and EU and UK consumers have a statutory withdrawal right. The full detail is in the refund policy.

We tell you before you get there rather than after. You can upgrade whenever you like and the change takes effect immediately. We do not abruptly cut off a working store, so your customers never see the consequence of a limit you have just reached.

Credits power the generative work: building pages and blocks from a prompt, writing product descriptions, and generating product imagery. Starter includes 50 a month, Pro 150, and Business 500. Running out does not affect your live store or anything you have already published, it only pauses new generation until the next cycle or until you top up.

Most of them, but not all. Starter gets the same AI builder, storefront, dashboard, payment gateways, custom domain, themes, and Buddy as every other plan. What it does not include is MCP access, the headless API, a custom SMTP server, email marketing, data export, sitemap and robots.txt, traffic analytics, abandoned cart, custom URL slugs, and priority support. All of those switch on at Pro and stay on from there up.

MCP is the protocol that lets an AI client such as Claude talk to your store directly, so you can add products, edit pages, check inventory, and answer order questions from a chat window instead of the dashboard. It drives real writes against a live catalog, which is why it sits alongside the headless API on the plans built for a store that is already trading, from Pro upward.

Yes, on every plan, with SSL issued and renewed for you. Point a domain you already own at your store and Buddy walks you through the DNS. Every store also gets a free yourname.orderain.com subdomain, with its TLS certificate included, that works from the moment it is created. Custom URL slugs for products and categories start at Pro.

Yes. Your products, customers, and orders are yours. The export data system, which hands you the whole catalog in a format you can open, is included from Pro upward. Nothing is held hostage to keep you subscribed.

No. You describe the store you want and Buddy builds the storefront, the products, the imagery, and the pages. Editing afterwards is a conversation rather than a settings screen. If you do want hands-on control, the visual builder and the underlying HTML and CSS are there whenever you want them.

Yes. Products, categories, and inventory import in bulk, so you are not retyping a catalog. Buddy can rebuild the storefront around the products once they are in, which is usually faster than trying to reproduce an old theme.

Email support and chat are included on every plan, including Starter. Priority support starts at Pro and stays on from there up. The help docs cover every screen in the product, and Buddy can answer most setup questions from inside your dashboard without you needing to write in at all.
